The MPCA Green Initiatives Committee is hosting our first Fall Clothing Swap!
Looking for a sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe? Join us for an afternoon of swapping, socializing, and giving quality clothing a second life. This is an opportunity to rehome pieces that are still in great condition but are no longer the right fit, style, or season for you.
Please bring clothing that you would be excited to share with someone else. Items should be clean, gently used, and ready for their next owner. Please do not bring clothing that is stained, damaged, or worn out. The goal is to share items that still have life left in them and can bring someone else joy.
Drop off your clothing on Friday, September 11 from 4 to 6 PM.
Join us for the swap on Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Mount Pleasant Community Upper Hall to browse, swap, and find some new to you favourites.
All brands, seasons, sizes, and styles are welcome. Any items remaining after the swap will be donated to local charities.
This free community event is open to everyone. Bring a few pieces you are ready to pass along, discover something new, and help create a more sustainable way to share within our community.
If you are able to give, we also welcome donations for the MPCA Community Pantry. Your contribution helps support neighbours who may need a little extra support, and every donation makes a difference. Thank you for helping us care for our community.
