Founded in 1926, the Alberta University of the Arts has become a significant contributor to visual culture in Canada and around the world.
Alberta University of the Arts, Continuing Education offers accessible, hands-on programming designed to support creative exploration at any stage of life.
Our Personal Interest courses invite adults to learn different art mediums and styles in a studio environment. For younger learners, we offer immersive weeklong Summer Camps, and a month-long Pre-College Program that helps teens (16+) prepare for post-secondary art and design education.
For working professionals, our flexible, online Micro Credential courses provide opportunities to upskill and grow in a changing workforce.
We believe in nurturing creative communities and supporting individuals who value skill-building, self-expression, and lifelong learning.
