Join us for a Saturday drive through the countryside to the Millarville Market. There you’ll find 185 vendors selling vegetables, baked goods, art work, baked goods, meats, baked goods, all you need for a coffee break and/or lunch, fruit, and don’t forget the baked goods! Most of these vendors are small business people, farmers, ranchers, orchard owners, and craftspeople. Bring your shopping bags for a fine day of wandering, chatting, tasting, and buying local.
There will be storage available on the bus for your purchases and walkers.
MPCA Membership: Required to participate in our activities. The annual family cost is just $5 for seniors age 65 and over, $15 for Mount Pleasant residents, and $25 for non-residents under 65. Sign up at https://mpca.tidyhq.com/public/membership_levels.
PRICE: $20.00 per person. Thanks to MPCA for subsidizing this outing.
INCLUDES: Motor coach transportation, driver tip, market entry (suggested $3 donation to support Millarville Racetrack’s programming) and GST.
NOT INCLUDED: Lunch.
PICKUP and RETURN: Come to the MPCA community hall parking lot (5 St. at 23 Ave. NW) at 9:00 a.m. for check-in. The bus is due to leave at 9:15. We’ll be back on the bus for our return to MPCA at 1:15 p.m. (earlier if we’re all back before).
